Since 1990, we have helped to rescue and rehabilitate over 3,000 wild mammals. Established in 2015, the NWRF grew out of a need to support charitable wildlife rehabilitation organizations across Canada.

Our Mission

The National Wildlife Rehabilitation Foundation aims to improve the efficiency and capacity of our wildlife rescue and rehabilitation partners by raising money for them and by providing supplies, equipment, and educational aides.

Besides love and sympathy, animals exhibit other qualities connected with the social instincts which in us would be called moral.
— Charles Darwin
