Wild animals in distress need immediate help.

If you think an animal is in distress, contact a wildlife rehabilitator right away. An experienced rehabilitator will help you decide what the next steps should be.

An animal in distress may:

  • Follow humans
  • Be orphaned
  • Be wobbly on its feet
  • Walk or run in circles
  • Be bleeding or obviously injured
  • Act strange
